TO SAY THE CLS and I have been doing the rounds of late is putting it mildly. It only arrived at the start of May and already nearly 6000 miles have flowed under its attractive five-spoke alloy wheels. With a schedule like that, its smooth engine, hushed refinement, considered driving environment and easy 600-mile range have shown the car at what I expect is its absolute best.
