Fiat zeroes in on small cars: New 500 EV to be followed by reborn Panda and Tipo families focused on 'relevance'

Fiat boss Olivier Francois says the brand will ensure that all of its future models are as "relevant" and appealing to customers as the 500, as part of a renewed focus on compact cars. The Italian firm recently launched the new 500 as an electric-only city car, which will be sold alongside the existing combustion-engined version, now branded the 500 Classic. Both models will feature a 500 logo on their grille, in place of the new 'FIAT' lettering being introduced on other models.
