European MPGI prices ease on continued slow demand

LONDON (ICIS)-- Mono propylene glycol industrial grade (MPGI) prices came under pressure again this week as a result of ongoing weak demand. One seller reduced its FCA numbers to €880/tonne, with prices at €940-1,000/tonne FD NWE.Demand for MPGI remains poor and this, combined with the drop in the propylene contract in May, has seen MPGI prices fall by around €50/tonne in recent weeks.
