SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s base oils market is expected to be more contained in the fourth quarter, following the strong recovery in import prices from June to August. While India demand is expected to stay relatively healthy with the monsoon season having just ended, buyers are resistant to suppliers’ excessive price hikes in view of volatile crude and gasoil prices against a backdrop of global economic uncertainties.
