OUTLOOK '20: Weak butyl glycol demand in Asia to persist

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Demand for butyl glycol (BG) in Asia is expected to persist in 2020, with buyers mostly adopting a cautious sentiment. Spot BG prices had been on a steady downtrend in the last quarter of 2019, ending the year at $880-$900/tonne CFR (cost & freight) China, their lowest level in more than three years, according to ICIS data.
