HOUSTON (ICIS)--Caustic soda prices in the Americas have been influenced by diverse factors that pushed values in different directions in February despite the sluggish market conditions. Trading remains sporadic in the region amid abundant product availability and modest demand. Prices have been largely stable to soft, but inflation and rising production costs have prompted producers to consider price increases, particularly in Mexico.
