摘要

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Trades and discussions involving fatty acids and fatty alcohols slowed down this week with both buyers and sellers keen to see the effects of the end of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia next week. Even though suppliers remained keen to achieve better values for their oleochemical products due to tight supply, they faced stronger resistance from buyers this week. Some suppliers said that demand in India, Europe and the Americas has tapered off this week as more plants have to shut down or reduce their utilisation rates due to movement restrictions.
