India’s HDPE pipe grade domestic list prices rise despite weak demand

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--The list prices of India’s domestic high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe grade natural 100 resins rose by Indian rupees (Rs) 2/kg in the latest price revision effective on 16 July. This was despite slowing demand for India’s pipe grade due to the ongoing monsoon season and recent area-specific lockdowns in some parts of India due to the coronavirus, which have hindered downstream piping installations.
