LONDON (ICIS)--The coronavirus pandemic is expected to dominate the outlook for the European caustic soda market because of its wide-ranging effects and the increasingly negative outlook it suggests for the global economy in the first half of the year. Caustic soda is a co-product of chlorine and is made during the same process, which means that demand in either market can drive production trends in the other.
