NEW YORK (ICIS)--Chevron Phillips Chemical is progressing on its plan to build the world’s largest cracker at 2m tonnes/year on the US Gulf Coast, its CEO said. “We are doing the front end engineering as we speak, targeting a 2024 start-up. It would be late 2020 or early 2021 for a final investment decision (FID),” said Mark Lashier, president and CEO of Chevron Phillips Chemical, in an interview with ICIS.
