LONDON (ICIS)--Polypropylene (PP) prices have fallen in Europe in April, and most sources are now looking towards May, when they expect the recent crash in crude prices to affect polymer pricing. The drop in April PP pricing was expected, following the decrease of €175/tonne in the monthly propylene monomer contract price. Suppliers have managed to hold on to margin, supported mainly by strength in the food packaging, health and hygiene, and medical sectors.
