Europe ABS 'difficult' supply tightness to continue into December and Q1 on strong demand and lack of imports

LONDON (ICIS)--The European acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) market is facing significant tightness which has built up in recent months, leading to a situation that market players have described as "stressful", "difficult", and "dramatic". Very tight supply remains a key concern in the market, and is being driven by much lower than typical imports from Asia in recent months, increased exports to China from both Asia and Europe due to high demand, and also higher demand than supply within Europe.
