SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Ethylene import prices in northeast Asia are little changed amid a relatively balanced market for August. Regional supply will continue to face output constraints in the next three to four months, but production activity in some downstream markets will be capped by bearish fundamentals. US exports are seeing a slowdown for first-half August shipments but spot sales from Europe for the same laycan have resumed. South Korea's balance will tighten towards October, with the impact of output losses exacerbated by downstream capacity expansion.
