Gazprom sets Bovanenkovo dates

Gazprom has given a target date for completing key infrastructure needed to produce 115bn m~3/yr at the Bovanenkovo field on the Yamal peninsula from 2020. The company plans to begin testing the third 30bn m~3/yr gas treatment facility at 4.9 trillion m~3 Bovanenkovo in May-June and aims to bring it on line in October — the first deadlines provided by Gazprom for unit start-up. It plans to have 66mn m~3/d of output capacity in place, from 68 wells, to feed the third treatment plant by October. A further 49 wells will be commissioned in third-quarter 2019, raising production capacity to 88mn m~3/d (32bn m~3/yr).
