Gazprom keeps drilling at South Kirinsky

Gazprom will start drilling a sixth production well this month at the 814bn m~3 South Kirinsky feld of Sakhalin island, in Russia’s far east. South Kirinsky is a potential source of gas for a long-planned 5.4mn t/yr third LNG train at the Gazprom-led 9.6mn t/yr Sakhalin 2 plant.
