Refners step-up 2Q maintenance

Russian refnery maintenance programmes scheduled in the second quarter will take more capacity of line than during the same three-month period in 2019, according to the energy ministry. Refners’ plans for April-June are also more ex- tensive than in the frst quarter of this year. Russian companies will reduce crude processing capacity by an overall 7.2mn t in the second quarter, compared with 3.8mn t in April-June last year (see table, pp22-23).
