Gazprom production was down by 7pc on the year at 101.4bn m~3 in the third quarter but 3.5pc higher than in April-June, as exports rose. Output from the 1.34 trillion m~3 Zapolyarnoye and 2 trillion m~3 Urengoi felds in west Siberia’s depleted Nadym-Pur-Taz province rose on the quarter following the completion of pre-winter maintenance. But output from Yamburg — one of the oldest felds in Nadym-Pur-Taz — was slightly lower because of maintenance.
