Following a period of low buying activity in the Indian market in recent weeks, PPL and FACT have broken the deadlock and secured cargoes in the $218-220/t cfr range through an international trader. MMTC remains in the market for 10,00t of granular sulphur, and has received one offer in the mid-$230s/t cfr India.
