Trinidad’s LNG slide slows on BP natgas output

An increase in natural gas output by Trinidad and Tobago’s biggest producer BP has helped to slow a four-year slide in the country’s LNG production, according to data from the Caribbean state’s energy ministry. LNG production in January-August totaled 16.1mn m3, 1.8pc less than the corresponding period last year. LNG output in January-August 2016 had already fallen 17.4pc from a year earlier.
