A large gasoline stockdraw amid firm export demand supported gasoline on the Gulf coast, while east coast prices fell on slimmer summer-grade demand. Latin America took Gulf coast and west coast diesel cargoes. Refinery maintenance reduced demand for vacuum gasoil (VGO), although units are now returning. A 1.9mn bl regional stockdraw boosted Gulf coast gasoline prices by 5-6¢/USG, despite the region switching to higher-RVP material, which typically fetches 2-3¢/ USG lower prices than summer-specification gasoline. A 19pc increase in exports to 655,000 b/d boosted values.
