Abundant products supply weighed on jet fuel and diesel markets in northwest Europe, while exports supported gasoline and fuel oil. Jet fuel premiums to North Sea Dated crude reached a four-month low of $8.30/ bl as the peak summer demand season draws to a close and supply remains ample (see graph). Jet stocks held in independent storage in the Rotterdam region fell as firms moved product elsewhere in Europe to create space for incoming cargoes. The region could tighten as the spot arbitrage from the Mideast Gulf was closed, with product heading to the Caribbean region.
