Naphtha and jet fuel markets were well supplied, with demand slowing. Relatively low freight rates underpinned gasoline exports to North America and west Africa and fuel oil exports to Asia-Pacific. Gasoline premiums to North Sea Dated crude rose to their highest on 13 September since the end of June, as refinery maintenance tightened supplies and a pipeline leak in the US supported the transatlantic arbitrage (see graph).
