India imports more from Iran in October

India bought 36pc more crude from Iran in October than a year earlier and 43pc more than in September, amid higher prices for competing grades and uncertainty ahead of US sanctions on Iran. Imports rose to 610,000 b/d from 425,000 b/d in September and 450,000 b/d a year earlier, with Iranian supplies more competitively priced than Saudi grades.
