Naphtha margins gain on petchem demand

1. Regional naphtha margins strengthened on firm interest, while gasoline margins made up losses from last week on concerted Indonesian buying. 2. More than 100,000 b/d of naphtha was bought for the petrochemical sector for second-half August delivery, boosting margins (see graph). Heavy full-range naphtha demand is high, with some condensate splitters favouring it as a feedstock.
