Light and middle distillate margins fall

1.Refning margins were weaker for most products, although fuel oil drew support from frmer demand for the straight-run grade. Gasoline came under pressure from ample Chinese supply, and weak petrochemical demand weighed on naphtha. 2.Gasoline refning margins weakened as China increased supply to the regional market (see graph). Rare cargoes emerged from Chinese independent refner Hon- grun, which ofered 800,000 bl of 92 Ron gasoline for May-June loading.
