US crude exports are booming as a string of new pipeline projects from the Perm- ian basin to the coast underpin a new export hub in Texas that will help cement WTI Midland’s presence in the global markets. The Corpus Christi port district in Texas exported almost 685,000 b/d of crude in August, according to the Port of Corpus Christi Authority - a 71pc increase from the roughly 400,000 b/d that departed the region in July.
