US remains importer

The US remains a major crude importer,receiving 7.8mn b/d in 2018,EIA data show,slightly down from 7.97mn b/d in 2017 and 7.85mn b/d a year before that.By comparison,China imported 9.14mn b/d of crude in January-November 2018,up by 8.3pc from the same period a year earlier.
