Adnoc eyes pricing revamp for Murban

Abu Dhabi’s Adnoc is considering changing the way it prices its Murban crude in a development that could help the grade become a regional benchmark. Adnoc is considering using a forward pricing basis for the ofcial selling price (OSP) for light sour Murban exports instead of its present retroactive one. The frm is also weighing up whether to list Murban as a futures contract on an exchange. This could bring Murban a step closer to becoming a benchmark against which to price other Abu Dhabi crude exports or even other regional shipments.
