摘要

Light sweet US crude exports are rising again after falling by nearly 1mn b/d when the Covid-19 pandemic forced producers to curtail output. Crude exports are starting to rebound after a tough second quarter thanks to demand in the Asia-Pacifc and Latin American markets, midstream firms Enterprise and NuStar say. NuStar is handling 450,000 b/d of light sweet WTI and Eagle Ford crude at its North Beach terminal in Corpus Christi this month, most of which goes to export. North Beach volumes had fallen to 250,000 b/d in May, more than 60pc lower than before the pandemic. Loadings at Corpus Christi have been rising this year, particularly over the past two months, after the start-up of new pipelines and terminals (see graph).
