Asian refners reduce runs as demand slumps

Asia-Pacifc refners plan to cut runs in April-May as measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus push products margins to multi-year lows. State-controlled refners that supply their domestic markets might have to minimise run cuts. But export-oriented refners will come under strong pressure to scale back operations in light of slumping demand and margins.
