Producers short of options as demand worries persist

Opec+ looks increasingly likely to shelve its plans to ease crude output cuts at the start of next year as concerns grow about the strength of the oil demand recovery. Opec and non-Opec producers are scheduled to ease crude production cuts by almost 2mn b/d at the start of next year in the third and fnal stage of their agreement. But the ground looks to be shifting on whether the group will taper its combined cut to 5.67mn b/d from the current 7.68mn b/d from 1 January.
