摘要

Coal inventories in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) transshipment hub declined following three consecutive weeks of gains, as water levels on the Rhine recovered to allow unimpeded barge traffic. Inventories at the four main ARA terminals declined by 367,000t on the week to 6.85mn t today, after reaching an historical high of 7.2mn t on 3 December. Stocks at three of the four terminals edged lower on the week, with EMO leading the declines. EMO's stocks fell by 300,000t on the week to 3.7mn t, while stocks at OBA and EBS declined by 5,000t and 50,000t to 2.3mn t and 225,000t, respectively. Ovet's inventories rose by 33,000t to 625,000t, after declining by 33,000t last week.
