API 4 near-curve swaps rose for the first time in five sessions, boosted by the spot physical market and a weaker dollar. The South African November contract edged up by 50￠/t on the day to finish at $99.85/t. API 4 November traded at least six times at $99.90/t in five lots a piece late in the afternoon. The first quarter 2019 contract traded at $100.10-100.15/t in the afternoon before closing at $100.25/t, up by 80￠/t from yesterday.
