Pakistan’s thermal coal imports fell for a second consecutive month in April, as slower economic activity weighed on domestic cement sales. Pakistan received 942,000t of thermal coal last month, down by 92,900t on the year and the lowest since February 2018, according to data from the country’s Federal Board of Revenue.Seaborne deliveries to the country last month were exclusively South African and Indonesian coals. Receipts of South African supply eased by 190,500t from a year earlier and 353,400t on the month to 733,400t in April.
