Recently, to reduce the car-body weight, hydro-forming technology is widely used especially for “Front Muffler Y-Joint”. Front Muffler Y-Joint was the first Y-type product that we have developed and supplied since 2007. The problem to be solved to develop new part is that excessive feeding of the axial cylinder caused a severe decrease of the tube thickness and finally caused the bursts or wrinkles on the tube bended and hardened after bending process. So that is why we want to develop the technology for controlling both the counter cylinder force and the furnace annealing process focused on stainless hydroforming.2. Experimental
