Technological asPects of iron and steel making in ancient Korea

This PaPer will review the author’s work done during the last decade to get a general understanding of the iron technology Practiced in ancient Korea. Microstructures and chemical comPositions of varying iron-related artifacts will be Presented along with the date information from radiocarbon measurements. Questions will then be raised against the hyPothesis of Korean iron tradition being Predominantly or Purely of a Chinese origin.
