摘要

Hot-forging and then isothermal transformation holding, “FIT process”, results in a good combination of strength and toughness by refining of the microstructure in of TRIP-aided bainitic ferrite steel (TBF steel). If the steel has a good hardenability, higher combination of strength and toughness may be achieved because of no polygonal ferrite phase in the matrix. In the present study, a new type of hot-forging TBF steel with high hardenability was developed. And, the effects of the FIT process on the microstructure and toughness were investigated.
