摘要

Knowing the accurate temperature profile inside the slabs discharged from the reheating furnace is critical for the furnace operation to meet the requirements of the down stream rolling process and to save furnace fuel consumption. Because the direct temperature profile measurement are physically difficult[1], an indirect method is devised which deduce the inside temperature profile at discharging from the surface profile at roller table. For the evaluation, temperature calculation model of the slab moved between reheating furnace and roughing mill is needed as follows.
