CIS slabs seek recovery in Far East, largely unchanged in Black Sea basin

Export prices for CIS slabs are seeing signs of recovery after a continuous drop. Offers increased mainly in the FarEast (+$5/t over the month) on the back of the upward sentiment driven by Chinese flats suppliers globally. It is stillunclear though whether the price rebound will spread for the near future. The situation in the Black Sea basin is stillunfavourable for CIS exporters.
