Indonesia to set reference price for steel imports to support loss-making local producers

The Industry Ministry is studying a possibility to set a steel reference price for imported products to protect local producers.The Indonesian steel mills are still loss-making because of low prices from foreign suppliers, especially fromChina, even despite the current duties.
