Severstal is reducing its debt burden: in the course of premature buyback of Eurobonds to be cleared in 2016-2017, the company has acquired a $219.3 million worth of securities. It was initially planning to spend $600 million for the purpose, but final result has turned to be lower. For holders of the bonds, the improvement of the company’s financial performances is “safety guaranty of the funds invested,” market players have told Metal Expert.
