Al-Tuwairqi to cease operations in Pakistan and move equipment to Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabian steelmaker Al-Tuwairqi Group plans to move production from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia since no decision on reduction of gas tariffs has been made yet. The company will make the move because the Pakistani government delays a decision on discounts for gas to ensure DRI-module operation, due to which the mill was idle for a year.
