Chinese exporters lower plate prices, domestic tags stable on production cuts

Chinese plate suppliers have decreased export offer prices in August due to slow buying activity in main sales marketsabroad and yuan devaluation. Local sales have not been accelerated either, but production cuts have supporteddomestic quotes.Currently China’s key producers are mostly offering plate at $300/t FOB against $300-315/t FOB in late July.
