Yemen’s Mukalla Iron and Steel puts off launch of rebar production amid political tension

Yemen’s Mukalla Iron and Steel has to postpone commissioning of a new rolling mill as well as the start of commercial production of rebar due to political crisis in the country. By now, the company has completed hot trials of the new equipment capable of producing 460,000 tpy of rebar started back in late 2014.
