Domestic prices for Russian PPGI rise on high demand and weaker rouble

Russian PPGI producers have increased prices to the domestic market thanks to seasonally high demand andsubdued interest for import material as a result of the rouble devaluation (13-15% per month).In August, PPGI quotes have risen by 1-2% month-on-month. Both integrated mills (CherMK , NLMK and MMK ) andmini-mills (Lysva Metallurgical Plan and RusTechnologi) raised their prices.
