German conglomerate ThyssenKrupp has saved more than ?1 bn ($1.11 bn) this financial year andplans to press ahead with the strategy, CFO Guido Kerkhoff told the Boersen Zeitung newspaper."We had announced ?850 M last year and reached ?1 bn in the end; I don't think we'll do less thanthat this year," he was quoted as saying.
