Google Fiber eyes Oklahoma City, Jacksonville & Tampa

US technology giant Google's fibre optic development arm, Google Fiber, said it is inviting OklahomaCity, in the state of Oklahoma as well as Jacksonville and Tampa, both in Florida, to become gigabit cities.The three US cities join three others that Google Fiber invited in September this year, bringing thetotal number of metro areas it aims to, or is already involved in to 15. Google said that Oklahoma City,Jacksonville and Tampa are growing tech-hubs that have a strong entrepreneurial spirit andcommitment to small business growth.
