Variation and association analysis among major fatty acids in rapeseed-mustard.

With a view to improving the mineral nutrition of oil through the manipulation of the fatty acids profile, information on correlation coefficients, range and heritability is derived from data on the major fatty acids (palmitic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic and erucic acids) in 28 germplasm lines and varieties of Brassica napus and Brassica juncea.
