Relative phenolic content of powdery mildew resistant selections in Indian mustard (Brassica juncea).

Six powdery mildew [?Erysiphe polygoni] lines derived from the F3 generation of a cross between B. juncea and B. carinata, susceptible and resistant to powdery mildew, respectively, were evaluated for total phenol content of the leaves at 45 days old. Phenol content did not appear to be correlated with disease resistance.
