Usiminas to close down more operations

Brazilian flats producer Usiminas is starting to temporarily shut down the hot end of its Cubatao plantin Sao Paulo state.The gradual deactivation will involve the sintering plant, coke ovens, blast furnaces, steel works andassociated activities.
